Hi,
I am a teacher at an Australian TAFE college using IRender for rendering and animation. My students are producing skp models to be animated using IRender. A few of the students have models that render as a still image fine, but will not render even a very short low res animation. I have tried stripping back one of the models to the simplest form (eg no trees or complex components etc.). A test still image renders fine, but even at very low res etc. an animation will not work. Writing geometry and extracting faces seems to proceed ok but then hangs at the render window saying "Frame 1/61 Loading Geometry, Initialising". The render window goes no further. On closing the render window I get a windows message saying " Render Plus Systems Batch Renderer has Stopped Working". I have attached a simplified skp file where this is happening.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I'll take a look.

Do some models work and other models fail?
There was a bug when an animation scene had a hidden layer (a layer which is visible in one scene, but not visible in another frame). We will fix it and post a new version next week.

For now, see if you students can avoid this situation.
Thanks for that Al.
By turning all layers on in all scenes it now runs the animation.
This is a terrific support service - your prompt reply is so appreciated.
