Specifying the number of cores to use is buggered as well. It doesn't seem to matter which radio option I pick (all cores, all but 1, or specified). It always wants to use all cores.

I looked at this and could not see a problem.
1. When you set the cores, what displays as th greyed out number under Other:
2. When you render, right click on the render title bar and click Statistics. What number of threads appears in the Statistics?
