We just noticed that here last week.

We are trying to get a new version built with a fix for this regression.

I'll reply here when I get the new version posted.

ok kool

We posted a new version with a fix for this on our downloads page:

http://www.renderplus.com/php/download_links.php

Also, in case you need it, here is a direct link to this new download:

Rich problem the settings problem is fixed but when im in the process of rendering it takes over 10 hours and when it's in the kast stages the program crashes

One thing to try with animations is to always save the animations as JPEG or PNG image files, instead of trying to create the final AVI file while all the rendering is occurring.

You do that by specifying . JPG or .PNG, as the output file type before you start the process:

See this forum post:

http://forum.irendernxt.com/forum/topics/animation-problem-1

After all of the images have been saved on the hard drive, then you can assemble them using another program, such as Gimp or Photoshop. This eliminates the any problems caused by the movie creation routine and various codecs, and also lets you use more sophisticated movie creation programs than the routine we use that is built into Microsoft Visual Studio.

if you don't have access to a movie creation program, we  include an executable to assemble the images into a movie, called

RpMakeAvi.exe

in:

C:\Program Files\Render Plus Systems\IRender_nXt\bin_Nxt

This is explained in the link above, and this other forum posting below:

http://forum.irendernxt.com/forum/topics/how-to-create-animations?c...

Alright i'll try this out and see how ti works
