Yes. We received the files.

We will take a look at them.

Thank you

I looked at your models and sample images. It's hard for me to help you much with that. I don't really do that much modelling, I am more involved with programming to make sure things work in the software.

You might have better luck uploading your models and images to this forum, adding them to a reply or to the original post, so that other landscape architects and renderers could offer you advice and share solutions that they have developed.

You can upload .skp files to a post by zipping them into a .zip file first and attaching the zip file using the Upload Files links. Images can be included by using the Image button above the post or reply when you are composing the message.

Have you looked at this discussion on the forum:

http://forum.irendernxt.com/forum/topics/water-and-waterfalls

In it, we show a sample of a small rendered waterfall.

I see that the link to the original 3D warehouse model referenced in that discussion is no longer active. It is now here:

https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model.html?id=3ca4bd70f299100acd6a...

Here is what that model looks like after editing the material to look more like water:

I am attaching the .skp file for that model, with the materials already edited.

Ok i'll take a look thanks much

It doesnt look as realistic as I thought it would be any suggestion?

Maybe the water needs more reflection?

I'll try that other than that how does everything looks to you?

The water needs to look more like water, hopefullt more reflection will help there. Maybe grab some of those bubbles out of that model I uploaded...

I did and I added more reflection will show you when its rendered

This is is with more reflection

Can you upload that model here? Or at least this part of it?

There's got to be some way to make the waterfall look as much like water as as the water at the bottom.
