Hi All

I have just tried a quick test using both the 32 bit and 64 bit renderer on a 64 bit machine with 8meg of ram.Although using more of the computers resources when multi-tasking the crude 1 pass result below does show the 64 bit version to be slightly quicker on a quite large model (28mb)

Hi Boothy

Are the bookcase tops meant to be different colours?

Well spotted - No ! (thats why I had to make a second run and I thought I would test at the same time)

The old bug of a modified material appearing correct in Su (yellow) but rendering with the original base colour in Irender - I had to delete original material in SU and re paint to make work. This mostly seems to occur when I have used a material with image texture and then switched texture off and changed material base colour.I was rushing to finish and really should have created a new material it would of saved time in the long run.

Long answer for simple question - it has been a long day (sales meeting - never good!) I am off to the pub for a beer with my good lady will be back later - one out of two is not bad !

Cheers

Boothy
