I am not using I Render very often, so I might have missed something basic. I did rendering of an bathroom. There is a light behind the shower glass next to the mirror. On the other side it is on, but this one appeared off after the rendering.

I use animation to create multiple views without being at the pc.
I open the Animation window, I save in jpg. then

1 frame / second
and it has always worked fine.
