Hi,
Could you just add few words about Auto-Reflection in the "Render Tab".
But I suppose there are lot of points to see in the doc according to all new features added these last weeks.
It's a long job to do, I know...

This is a feature I was trying out once. I just added some documentation for it;
Auto Reflection is a check box on the Render Tab which makes some materials reflective based on their name.
If this is checked, then anhy materials with these words in the name will automatically be made reflective.
Pattern in Material | Highlight Intensity | Sharpness |
metal | 0.80 | 0.90 |
plastic | 0.30 | 0.40 |
mirror | 0.95 | 1.00 |
chrome | 0.80 | 0.90 |
silver | 0.80 | 0.90 |
aluminum | 0.8 | 0.90 |
gold | 0.80 | 0.90 |
wood | 0.50 | 0.90 |
tile | 0.6 | 0.90 |
It was designed to make it easy to add some reflection to existing models if the model happens to use words like metal, tile, mirror, etc. in the names of its materials.
Here is a model I grabbed from the 3D warehouse rendered without auto-reflection. (I did use object properties to turn on the ceiling lights which were already in the model)
Here is the same mode with auto-reflection turned on:
(The model just happend to use metal and tile in the names of the materials)
The auto reflection adds just a little more detail.
There are probably much better examples where this might work. However, most users are content to add reflection where they want it.
Yes, it's interesting.
Thanks
