Google tells us this:

"When you place an order through Google Checkout, we'll display an approximate price in your country's local currency. Keep in mind that you'll be charged the currency a seller uses on their web site.

Your credit/debit card company might convert the charge to your local currency and may also add additional fees that are not reflected in the approximate price displayed. Please contact the credit/debit card-issuer for additional details.

Currency Conversion Disclaimer: Google cannot guarantee the accuracy of the exchange rates used by the calculator. You should confirm current rates before making any transactions that could be affected by changes in the exchange rates. Foreign currency rates provided by Citibank N.A. and displayed under license. Rates are for information purposes only and are subject to change without notice. Rates for actual transactions may vary, and Citibank is not offering to enter into any transaction at any rate displayed."

And

"Buyers from many other countries outside the United States and United Kingdom can also sign up for the service and make purchases through Google Checkout. While their purchases will always be processed in the currency matched to your address (U.S. dollars for U.S. merchants or Pounds Sterling for U.K. merchants), buyers' credit cards will usually provide seamless currency conversion."

Can you sign into Google and make sure you have specified the proper location and/or currency?

Can anyone else in the UK click a Buy Now button for me and see if it displays the currency conversion?

With some help from Ricchcat, I learned that you will have to sign into your Google Accoun, (so that Google knows who and where you are), before you will see the converted prices:
