The latest versions have added a setting to let you determine the number of threads or cores to use for rendering.
- The default is to set the number of threads to match the number of cores available.
- Setting a number greater than the number of cores may provide faster renderings.
- Setting a number less than the numbr of cores will render slower, but may speed up other functions on your computer.
This is on the More setup tab.
When first testing this, use the Statistics in the Batch Renderer to see how many threads are being used. (Right click on title of rendering window and select Statistics)
