No i actually used a color and added a bump texture to it Rubble. It kinda looks like plastic lol maybe its just me
I think the rendering and the sand look pretty good.
Did you model the sand in SketchUp or use an image.
What don't you like about it?
Is it related to color? If so, you need to add some red and green to the color of the light bulb. Pure blue light can only be seen as blue on surfaces. Blue lights in the real world have some white mixed into them.
