Replacing trees in model with nXt trees

"You might have to create your own tree to get this good a quality. Our trees extract much faster because we re-render the trees from the original definitions, rather than exporting all the faces and images. You can rotate our trees easily, but there is no good way to scale them yet. (The height is determined by the age of the tree. You can easily make a few different versions of the tree at different ages.

You trees are groups, so it would be hard to replace them easily. If they were components, you could create a new tree."

    Its ok guys, ive just downloaded from the Ruby website. ill give it a test run and see how i go simplifying my model for rendering and animation creation.

    Thanks Richcat. His existing trees are groups. But it may be fairly easy to point to them one at a time and make them components.

    Links for Aidan Chopra Sketchup for Dummies and his Youtube vid - replacing components with other components - obviously the trees to be replace need to be components, and I believe the library trees are components.
