Hi. I am trying to render a house I modelled in sketchup.. But curiously, it won't render the roof. I checked the layers and all.. I don't think there is anything different from the other layers.. It would only render the body of the house. I tried rendering with the top view so the roof is the only thing on screen but then, it only rendered the top view of the interior of the floor, ignoring the roof completely.. I hope you can help me.. Thanks in advance!

We do not get any information from SketchUp about which section plane is "active", so we might be applying one that you are not using in the current SketchUp view.

In particular, we use the firsts visible section plane whether it is active or not.

Section Plane Settings

IRender nXt cannot tell which section planes are enabled or disabled. Ordinarily, only the first section plane which is visible is used to clip the rendering.

This can be changed on the IRender 2 Tab to allow processing of all section planes and processing of hidden section planes.

Please see this page about how to control which plane is used for the rendering:
