Hello!

Working with HDRi skies for refliection only and using planar backgrounds for my renderings....I just can't seem to 'lift' the image (y component)...Usually it is an outdoor picture with the horizon located at a different level than the model view and I need to 'lift' the background photo...

Tried the tips on the background page however I cannot seem to get it to scale in any direction...help?

Thanks, Michele

You cannot "lift" and HDRi sky - sinve the horizon is defined as the center of the HDRi image.

You could find an HDRi editor and shift the sky.

You should be able to lift a non-HDRi background. If that is what you have, send me a small model with the background and I will see why it is not moving properly.
Thanks...I am attaching a sky (non HDRi) and my test model was just the camper from one of your tutorials...
much appreciated if you can tell me where I need to go to scale/move this sky vertically...
