hi, i´m wondering why there are no version for mac-users? a lot of designers work on macs nowadays and i think that number is increasing. do you have any plans on making a mac-version?

I have worked on both platforms and opened models made on one platform in sketchup on another platform with minimal issues - textures and scenes occasionally seemed to throw up a problem but nothing that couldn't be resolved. Layout does however completely re-format text between platforms which is a pain in the ...

It sure sounds to me there like the files are portable between the Mac and a PC.
The Rendering Engine we use - AccuRender nXt - is currently not available for the Mac.
We are very aware that there are a lot of Mac users who would like to use IRender NXt.
Some users are able to use IRender nXt with one of the Virtual machines (PC Emulators) such as Parallels Desktop or VMware Fusion. I know that is not an ideal solution, but it may let you try out and use IRender nXt for now.
