Hi, I have a problem when rendering glass which shows the final result with a white border around the glass. Do not use images or background colors and reflects other things quite well.
If anyone knows how to fix it, I would appreciate if you could tell me how.
Thanks!

I'll get in touch again to tell you how I did.
Thanks for your time and all your help! I really appreciate it.
See the two lighting channels videos:
Integrated Lighting Channels
and
Using Lighting Channels with IRender nXt
And see the page on Lighting Channels
Here I added a 100W ceiling light and left lighting channels at the default setting:
Here I used lighting channels to turn off the ceiling light completely:
(You can run the slider between 0 and 1 to get the balanced effect you want)
Is there a tutorial to show me how to manage the lightning channels?
the vertical frames are a result of all the light coming from the window. Try adding some interior lighting, such as a ceiling lamp, to balance it. Also this may be a good time to use Lighting Channels to let you balance the interior lights against the sun and sky.
We do not set DPI in IRender nXt. But you can render at a higher resolution and use an imaging editing program to change the dpi.
I need the upgrade, that's for sure.
Here goes a new render of the same view.... i can't get rid of those white edges!
Could it be because the window is between white faces?
I was told that the new version would have an option to change the dpi of the images rendered, is it so?
What you see "in the windows" is the reflection of other items in the room.
Here is a different view with the ceiling removed with a section plane:
(Note: your model had an open space above the windows - that is what you would see if the windows had no reflection.)

I could try but I don't think I can update it. I purchased it in september 2009, and you have only a year of "free updates"... It's not my decision in the office to buy programs, so... what's the cost of upgrading to the new version? Maybe I get lucky...Still, looking at your render, windows look "strange" when there's nothing pass them, like sand effect... that's how irender sees the background?
Can you try it with the latest version?
Here is my rendering of scene 3 after 40 passes. Is this better than you have been getting?
Can you email it to support@renderplus.com
Thanks,
Al
