Animate a section cut
I have a model of an existing house. We have designed an addition for that house and modeled it in sketchup. The existing house is a group and the addition is another group. The addition part has section planes in it so that it can animate as if the addition is growing from the ground. It works gret when you hit the play buttom in sketch up, BUT... when i try to use irender to create the animation, It does not work. It animates with the addition already in the animation (does not animate the grow from the groud part), then after it is done, My model has lost the addition group. Please Help!

There are several things which SketchUp animates and we do not. Including sun position and section plane.
We will be doing some work on Animation in the next two weeks, so we will see if we can get the section plane to animate.
You say that a group disappeared. Did it actually disappear in SketchUp, or was it because the layers changed as we iterated through the view pages?

the group was inside the section plane and it all disappeared.. i saved a back up so i retrived it
