"You can place another spot light behind the mirror - but at the same height and "mirrored" location as the first spotlight, and aim the at the same place. (I drew a construction line to make it easy to aim them)
Then, in SketchUp, I set…"

"Would you like to rotate the sun while in SketchUp or in the Batch Renderer? The function I am would let you say "Rotate sun by x degrees" while still in SketchUp, and you would see the SketchUp shadows move by that number of degrees.
"What if you were able to rotate the model around and pick a spot for the sun in the sky?
Does that work at all?
We would then have to rotate the model and choose a time of day for this to work. If you pick June 21, and rotate the model, you can…"
I meant asva friend on this site. I can't seem to find a way to a friend except by using an email. I'm just trying to get connected with some people on this site. That's all. I did check out sketchucation mag and was reading the interviews of the sketch related companies. Is that the type of article you guys will be doing with them?
I was involved with Beta testing the early versions of nxt for Revit, but I got too busy to stay involved, and I thought this product was released for production. I would like to purchase a licence, but it seems like there are still major issues that would prevent me from being able to use this for my projects.
1. I thought nxt loaded the assigned materials from the Revit material library, but in the trial version that I just downloaded and installed most of the materials were wrong.
2. I have not tried it but I saw that the decals are still not working
3. And I also noticed that RCP objects are still not working.
I would love to beta test any new versions you are developing. I am currently taking time off to do research and development, and I have time for this now.
