With SDP, I'm curious if I now have access to a relational database mgmt. system application through a connection to Access. For my present
purposes of this email, a simple yea or nay from you will suffice.
I'll be "kicking the tires" of SDP this weekend, believe me!
Give it a shot.
It is primarily for reporting on components, and won't help with wall schedules, and other area estimating tools. (We can do more with this if you turn your walls into components or groups) (We currently do not report on groups, but we can do that if we need to)
Also, the only calculations we perform currently are multiplying count time other fields. We will add more later, such as using cost-per-length or cost-per-area.
We currently output a .CSV file - see if you are able to access it in ACCESS and let us know what changes we may need to make.
