downloading and installing rp wall maker

Hey, does anyone know why i can not see the free plug in for wall maker? I am using the free 30 trial version of ir render nxt. I have re down loaded and re installed the wall maker several times but it is not showing up in my plugin menu.

Are you using SU8 ? Google have changed the way the plugins load since SU7 - not sure if AL(the developer) as changed wallmaker yet

Yes i am using su8, curious, do you know if i can still download su7? I guess i will have to contact support to find out if they have a fix for it. THanks for the reply i thought i was going crazy. I am anxious to try the wall maker add on because i do a lot of quick 3-d floor plans and that would save a ton of time! I hope is is everything i have been looking for. Have you use this add on?

I need to try RpWallMaker to make sure it is loading with SU 8
I am about to board an airplane, so if I don't have a response in 30 minutes or so, please be patient.

If you had already installed RpWallmaker for SU 7, you will need to uninstall it and reinstall it - selecting the SketchUp 8 location for the install.

When you reinstall it you will need to navigate to the SketchUp 8 installation location. This will not be the default, so click browse and select the location for SU 8.

(I am doing this on my portable now)

However, even after uninstalling and reinstalling RpWallMaker - it did not appear on the Plugins menu for me.

We will fix this and create a new version next week.

Hi Shanna

I tend to contruct wall directly from DXF\DWG imports - I am used to doing it this way and find it quicker personally - also wall maker seems ok for fairly regular construction - something like curvelinear walls would still have to be done manually.I am sure if you googled SU7 you might find an old link somewhere.

I am glad the `flying developer` is coming to your aid - I bet theres not too many other support forums with the same service on a Saturday

Just gave it ago as downoad GSU8 for evaluation, uninstall and reinstall to be able to pick GSU8 making sure to navigate to plugin folder, and when opening 8 it appears OK in plugins - wish I was having same luck with FF.

But - When trying it out it draws walls Ok as before but when placing auto opening for windows etc just freezes GUS8. So avoid auto openings until fix is issued.
