Is Render Farm working in the latest stable version ?

Hi Rich

Is render farm working in the latest stable\beta versions ? - I have everything set up as per previous setup - renderfarmer and paths set up - The farm monitor indicates that both machines are active but it only seems to assign slice\job to host machine.I have tried on various sizes of models with no success. I have set path within public documents folder which both machines have access to (I have tried manually copying to and from both ) I did also try individual paths to see if this made any difference .Both current test machines are win 7 based. I have also authorised both host and remote render farmers and have both running as the active status should suggest.

Any ideas?

I must admit I did forget about reinstalling but have done this since still with same effect - i still have write issues on newly formed files on client computer - I think I am going to give it up as a bad job - its a real drag having to reinstall the software everytime you wish to renderfarm a new project anyway - its not a very elegant solution by any means.I am really busy and just cannot spend any more time testing.

I installed new 64 bit version on both machine and still did not work but thanks anyway - I may revisit this at a later point but really have not the time to indulge at the moment.

I still think there must be a access write issue but I have spent hours now refering to both test machines and cannot find solution. The new project files\sub folders created during extraction process have restricted access from client machine which is my primary suspect but I will need to investigate windows 7 permission protocols further.

I did have the farm working on a 64bit win 7\32 bit vista system when beta testing for Rich on my home network but I just do not really know what I am doing wrong at the moment
