Light settings

Hi All,

I'm trying too render a scene of a class room with the sun light and interior light setting but when I render this only the sun light setting is working and no lights!

Could someone please let me know what I am doing wrong?

HI Fred

1.The shadows dialog is a standard SU window - go to top menu in SU - window - and tick shadows

2.Using the NXT lighting dialog (in main toolbar - looks like table lamp) rather than applying glow to material (see below)

HI Boothy.

I've noticed that before - thought it was FF, but what I believe is that if someone replies there is a period of time (15mins) when you can change it after "adding reply", but if you then subsequently go back and delete that post can can;t remember if it latest activity or help desk items to right side lags behind and will show somebody has posted but when you look for the its not there.

EDIT just tried with this posy help desk to right shows it latest activity hasn't yet, should think it waits until 15mins are up

I pulled the post, (my own post). I was announcing the new tutorial I am working on for Lighting Channels. But then I decided it would be better to make it a new thread. (I'll go ahead and put similar information in this thread as well as in the new thread)

I am struggling on how to make a good tutorial on this, because there is a lot to do to use them well, and also, a lot of different ways to do it.

Balanced Lighting

Other Lights - (lights outside door) and Self glow - (glowing panels on the wall) - made very intense (40.0) for effect and other lighting channels adjusted to achieve desired effect.
