I am new to Irender and am having abit of a problem, I have downloaded and installed the trial version of Irender into Sketchup 8 Pro, the problem is when i load the sample images to check out the photorealistic view the images open but render like a standard Sketchup Image like its only been drawn up in sketch up and the photorealistic properties do not exist. Hi,
I usually after placing the component,
imposed on the parameters, then rendering.
You can try.

You must place textures on surfaces, and arrange them. Watch tutorial on YT how place textures on any model. You have textures in Sketchup, but i get them from" CG textures", and other places on net. Just google.

Play with defoult presets when you arrange textures (right click over texture, and choose "iRender-nxt/edit material)

For a model with not special material settings, you will only notice the improvement in subtle shadows - mostly for exteriors using High Dynamic lighting - or for models with transparent glass which will have reflection.

Also, interiors with light coming in through windows can make effective renderings with no additional settings.

But for other interiors, and other effects, you need to specify an amount of reflection for reflective surfaces and either place lights or make change to existing geometry to mark them as light sources.
