Problem Installing RpTreeMaker

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DOWNLOAD THE RP TREE MAKER FREE ADD-ON PROGRAM AND EACH TIME I DO IT, IT CANNOT BE FOUND ON MY COMPUTER. I FOLLOWED EVERY INSTRUCTION TO THE LAST DETAIL BUT I STILL CAN'T GET IT TO DOWNLOAD.

THE PROCEDURE FOLLOWS THROUGH AS IF IT IS DOWNLOADING AND IT TAKES ABOUT 15 MINUTES TO GO THROUGH IT BUT THEN WHEN IT'S DONE, MY MEDIA PLAYER BEGINS RUNNING AND THIS PROGRAM ISN'T THERE OR ANYWHERE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER.

I DON'T KNOW WHY MEDIA PLAYER STARTS UP OR WHAT THAT HAS TO DO WITH ANYTHING. I WOULD THINK THAT THIS RP TREE MAKER ADD-ON FILE WOULD GO INTO THE SKETCHUP PROGRAM BUT IT DOESN'T. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? I REALLY NEED TO TRY THIS THING BUT HOW DO I GET IT ON MY PC? I'M USING SKETCHUP 8 IF THAT MEANS ANYTHING AND MY COMPUTER SYSTEM IS WINDOWS. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME?

The download is a .ZIP file.

It sounds like your computer is set up to run Windows Media Player as the default program for .ZIP files.

See if the following instructions can help you determine what program us being used to process .ZIP files, and to change it to something else.

To change which program starts when you double-click a file, follow these steps:

Open Windows Explorer by right-clicking the Start button, and then click Explore.
Click a folder that contains a file of the type that you want Windows to open in a program that you select.
Right-click the file and, depending on the programs installed on your computer, complete one of the following steps:
- Click Open With to choose the program that you want.
- Point to Open With, and then click Choose Program to choose the program that you want.
The Open With dialog box is displayed. Use one of the following methods to select the program that you want to use for this file type:
- In the Programs list, click the program that you want to use.
- Click Browse, locate and then click the program that you want to use, and then click Open.
- Click Look for the appropriate program on the Web to browse the Internet for the program that you want to use.
Click to select the Always use the selected program to open this kind of file check box if it is not selected.
Click OK.
