in response to my forum post,  have a look at this SketchUp file. When I render it, I do not get the image picked up. I have attached a copy of the SketchUp file as well as an image of the render down.

Can you let me know what I am doing wrong when you get a chance.

I assume that you're referring the photo you used for the background in the PhotoMatch view.


We don't get the PhotoMatch image from SketchUp. The only way to replicate a PhotoMatch view is to use the same image as a background for the rendering, by using the Background tab on our SetupOptions dialog..


This works as long as you're still in the original view that was used when you created the PhotoMatch View. Otherwise, we can't read the actual view from Photomatch - if you have zoomed or panned after setting up the PhotoMatch. (This is a deficiency of SketchUp that we haven't figured out how to overcome yet.) So it is important that you leave the view zoomed out after setting up the photo match and render from that view - and don't zoom or pan the view before rendering.


Can you send us that photo? Then I can test your model rendering.
