Remove Lightsource Reflection

"Hi, Im having trouble creating a new thread in order to get help. It keeps
telling me access denied (which I dont understand why as Ive done it before)
anyways I can't seem to get that checkbox to appear in the material edditor to
remove lightsource reflection as you see it on the tutorial ... is it a bug? or
do I have to remove another parameter for it to appear? I remember it appearing
once on my laptop but since I cant seem to get it there either. all the best"

What version are you using, Irender nXt or nxtrender
The nxtrender material window is limited it does not have the no light source reflections.
I'm going to persume you have IrendernXt.
Does the check box actually appear, or is is greyed out as below.

If it is greyed out you have to add some reflection by sliding the Intensity up a notch, for it to become active.
Another way is to click the Advanced button and that allows you to strangely check the no light source reflections without add any reflection ( Al this may be a bug?)

i'm using irender nxt ver 3.0JB22nxt
its not grayed out it's just completely inexistant ... even in the advanced menu.

Hi Paul
I would suggest you download the latest stable update which is JD13, and see if that works, as no light source reflections its a pretty recent addition. NB. When you buy a licence you get 12 months updates as well from date you bought licence.
Click download tab above, you have to fill in the details etc, which takes you to the download page.
Bookmark the actual download page for next time - so you don't have to keep filling in the details.
