What do you want to see through the windows?
If you want to see nice sky, you will have to use an HDRi sky.
What would you like to see?
Hi hart,
i wanted to see black sky since its night .. how do i do that?
Use the default interior/ no sun.
However what you are seeing is the reflection in the glass of the lights in the room.
Make the glass a dark color and less transparent
Also, try setting the Index of Refraction to 1.0 on the transparency tab that should reflect less light.
Hi hart,
I used the interior with no sun, and i have been experiencing this plague a long time time, When ever i render with the default option of "interior with no sun" whenever i render with no walls the background seems to automatically render in blue. Hope you could address my problem thnx.
To see what the background really looks like, remove on of the windows entiely (just delete or hide the glass), so that we are seeing directly into the outside. Then you will see the background color. With the sun and sky off, it is probably using the SketchUp background color. If that turns out to be blue, change it to black.
Also, you can try changing the interior walls to yellow, to see if the windows then look yellow rather than blue - that would let us see whether you are viewing the sky, the background, or reflections of the interior walls.
By the way, I find referring to features of IRender nXt as the "plague" is offensive. You should you less negative terms if you want to get help from the developers and other users of IRender nXt.
Hi Hart,
Im sorry if i have offended irender nxt that way hart, It was just my figure of speech, i do not mean what i said about your software hehe, thanx for your opinion it really helped :)
Hi Hart,
I first tried to reset the shadow system into 3am night but it didnt work so what i did was change the style system's sky instead of blue into black and tada! Problem solved!
