Using photo textured plant components. All plants and animals are modeled components, and any lighting effects are IR postprocessings - especially 'glare'.

The trees are 3d models from warehouse and other sources.  Haven't experimented with IRender's trees yet.  I used to use AccuRender's trees all the time, but that was a long time ago...

Thanks EliBjr.  This Deer Pond experiement was built to test the abilities of IRender to take organically placed components/textures and blend them together with shadow and reflection - much was learned.  Notice the shoreline rock texture's lighting is reversed?!  The fisherman is a FormFonts 3d model and the swans come from warehouse - look for 'duck & swan'.  Those birds are so funny - they seem to draw the attention away from the imperfections around them - also part of the experiment.  If you cover them up with your thumb, the image becomes little more than technical.  Interesting.

John, This is one of the nicest images "organic" sketchUp images I have seen.  Well done! the only thing I would change here is the quality and resolution of the person fishing. This looks like you produced this with Vue or Carrara. The water is very impressive. Are these trees produced from the nxt render trees or are they Warehouse components? ...And where did you get the swans and ducks?
