  • We do not have a way to change the way the model looks when it pans, etc.

I suspect that the U3D plugin for Acrobat does that to try to improve performance.

I know you can get better results for this if you set a very low Framerate Threshold in Edit/Preferences/3D & Multimedia

I was exporting it from toolbar in sketch up 7. Now I tried with stand-alone application and it has worked. Thank you.

When we zoom, rotate , pan the model, it turns to wire mesh for the time being. Is it possible to have smooth movement of the model without any wire mesh?

  • I tried to convert the file that you sent us.

I ran out of memory trying to convert that file.

Sorry, but it is just too large for us to convert it to a U3D.

  • Dear Rich,

  • It rendered for me OK from SketchUp 8, and also from the standalone RPS 3D PDF  application.

Are you exporting it from the toolbar in SketchUp 7, or are you running the stand-alone application?

  • I have send you one file thru "yousendit". Please try it at your end.

Actually I am not able to convert a small file of less than 2 MB also.

When I was using the trial version of RPS 3D PDF I could make 3D pdf but not now.
