Animation Flicker

We are rendering an animation around a house.  It is saving each scene transition as its own avi file (this was by choice).  When the rendering reaches scene 8 the lighting changes (all settings are the same for all scenes) it gets brighter and starts to flicker.  I will try to upload a lower res version that’s 8 seconds.  The first 4 seconds is scene 7 and the last 4 is when scene 8 starts.

    We have seemed to solve the problem. If you render the entire animation on the same computer, then all is fine. If you render scene 1-3 on one and 4-6 on another, then you can get different results. Note: All settings were checked and double checked that they matched each other. The downside is we can't use more than one computer to do an animation.

    Hi Again
    Just to make sure is there any obvious layer changes\light controls etc in later scenes ? - it may be worth uploading the model to Al`s email address so he can look at the detail - alternatively you could upload to forum for us other members to have a look at.

    Hi Matthew

    This may be something to do with how SU interperates shadows - I vaguely remember that SU renders shadows in a different way to other renderers and therefore sometimes there can be variation in frames from shadow variation - there was a post on the old furum way back regading this way back- but after a quick search I cannot find at the moment - I will look again later (Richcat another forum member usually comes to the rescue at this point!)may be Al will be able to explain more later.I know this is not of any immediate help but will have a search later.

    I think it may have to do with the sun. I noticed that at that point the camera would be pointed toward the sun. Any thoughts?

    The downsizing has made it not as smooth, but you can still see the lighting and flickering change.
