Dark material looks too bright and unrealistic after visualization

Got a problem with dark materials. After rendering this material looks too bright. I tried to change some light options but doesnt work.

I also wonder why my hi-res textures looks low res on the rendered image even when rendered to bigger resolution.

Especially when rendering one object in isolation, the Photometric Illumination feature will brighten or darken your image to what it things is most pleasing. Use the brightness slider at the left top of the render window to adjust to the desired brightness.
