glass problem - no background transparent png format

trying to do a rendering as a transparent png format so I can place in a photo via photoshop.  the rendering has some glass, part of the glass has an element behind it, most of the glass has no background.  The part of the glass with something behind it comes through fine, the part of the glass without a background comes through sort of gray with no real transparency.  Any suggestions?

    I would try making the glass 100% transparent with no reflection.
