  • We do not use the graphics card, so it is just the processor speed and memory.
    This was posted on the nXt forum:

     nXt is very processor dependent-- the fastest one with the most cores will generally produce the best results.

    Our recommendation is to use the fastest 64 bit processor, with the most cores and as much RAM that you can get.

    I believe the problem that you are seeing with the black rendering is due to an HDRi sky file that is not downloading properly.

    I am assuming that the rendering engine cannot find the HDRi sky file that we use for the Bear Mtn. HDRi choice, a file called:

    accustudio_bearmtn.hdr

    That HDR file is not included in the install, in an attempt to try to keep the initial download small

    Wen you first select that HDR sky, we download it at that time.

    You should have seen a dialog like this, asking you to click OK to download it:
    2506660826?profile=original
    After downloading, that file should have been placed in:

    C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Roaming\RPS\HDRI Files

    Like this::
    2506660833?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024
    Could you look there and see if the file was downloaded properly? And that the size of the file is the same as this:
    2506660786?profile=original
