how to do light shadows

trying to render a floor plan with light/subtle shadows. Everything I've tried so far creates a black shadow. Any tricks?

never mind, figured it out. For anyone else interested, its on the sky options and playing with the cloudiness, intensity values.

Hi Larry

You should also be able to use a balance of the sun and sky intensity values (with sketchup sun turned off)

First image is sun 50 sky 100 cloud 0

Second image is sun 100 sky 0 cloud 0.

The cloud option also helps to make it a a fuzzy less sharp shadow
