We posted a new version of RPS 3D PDF, JL01, that will now work with SketchUp 8.
It can be downloaded from Downloads.
This version runs as a plugin from within SketchUp.
It loads a 3D PDF toolbar inside SketchUp
that will launch the same familiar 3D PDF dialog for creating 3D PDFs and PDFs embedded in HTML files.
We no longer add a 3D PDF icon to your desktop, since we still cannot convert SketchUp 8 files without loading them into SketchUp. If you have a 3D PDF icon on your desktop from a previous install, it will still work with files from SketchUp 7 and earlier versions, but will post a warning it you try to use it with a SketchUp 8 file.
We also added a function to the new 3D PDF toolbar to let you select a project to remake a PDF file without re-extracting the geometry. This will only work with projects that have been created using this latest version of RPS 3D PDF.

We posted a new version, KD18, which finally fixes the problem that some users ran into, where loading the RPS 3D PDF plugin was hanging SketchUp.

We now don't actually load our DLL until you click on the first button on our toolbar or menu, so it shouldn't hang SketchUp as it did for some people who tried it.
We also fixed a bug where we weren't using the "Export 2-sided faces" option on hte Options/Model tab until the 2nd time after you changed the setting, so reverse faces were not appearing when they should have.
