I tried the "Create mirror component" for the first time and it seems it doesn't work.
In fact I saw that RPS_mirror_white surface hasn't any reflexion property.
If I manually set RPS_mirror_white material, it works, so I think your tool doesn't do it by default.

Ok, maybe I was in that case because I effectly put the mirror on a furniture.

I just started a new drawing and placed one of our mirrors behind Nancy, and it worked for me.
However, I notice that if I then place that same "RPS_Mirror material" on any other surface, then the mirror stops working, nothing is reflective, so something isn't working.
In those mirrors, we didn't make the material reflective, we added an attribute to the face to make it reflective.
We'll look into this and fix it.
