When viewing the 3D pdf from a Sketchup model, I get a noticeable "wireframe" effect to the model when I scroll down the page.
The model within the pdf works fine - pan, tilt, spin - no problems.
But when "outside" the interactive model, in the text area of the pdf, scrolling up or down the sheet makes the model turn to a wireframe in appearance. The model has simple shades of color - not complex textures.
Any suggestions of how to minimize this or perhaps to control the pdf file size?
Thank you in advance,
John

That sorts out the wireframe issue....
but...I've generated what I though was mid complex pump and pipe system and the pdf comes in at 8MB.
What are the tricks/links to reduce this to say 800KB??
There aren't really any tricks. The file size is just a result of the number of faces in the model and the size of any images used for material textures.
I believe what you're referring to can be fixed by setting the Scheme for Low Framerate to "None", as below, or by setting a low in the Acrobat Preferences dialog:
I've never found a way to set that from the PDF file.
Hi Rich,
Thanks for your note. But I can't find where to do this: Scheme for Low Framerate to "None nor can I find the "Preferences" page that your screenshot is from. Is it from 3D PDF or from another program?
Thanks,
John
