Hello,
I experiments a problem rendering a scene. the problem comes during geometry writing.
I identified the concerned component and don't understand what happens with it.
Could you have a look at the joined scene?
Regards,
Alain

I posted a new version, ND07, wih a fix for this.
We were saving too many materials files for those textured materials.
Please try this latetst verion.
Thanks.
Ok, that's cool, I install it.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Rich
Just tried it and it works a treat.
Hello Rich,
I think I know:
This model, like all model from "La Maison Du Monde" are made with a big picture mapped on the model, like we do to create building for Google Earth.
So they looks great in Sketchup but they are almost unusable for rendering.

Right, I rendered just that component and it created over 107,000 nXt Materials on the disk for the rendering, which just brought the process to it's knees. But after a very long "loading time", it did finally render.
Ok, but why does it create so many material as there is only one in fact and even if we consider it duplicate the material for each entity (sub group or component) the seems just contain few parts?
Alain
Thanks for the test model.
I'll try to see what's causing this.
