Hi All,

I have Irender at home, and we have just bought Irender for the office.

When I create a model from home and apply Irender settings to the materials and then load this model on to the Irender program at work to render it keeps coming with:

ERROR during: send_settings_and_model: No such file or directory - C:\Users\Fred's\AppData\Local\Temp\nXt_batch

    (VER: 3.5 JK09nxt - WINDOWS7-2 - ICJK3279R)

Could someone please help? I take it you should be able to render from different machines as long as I have the same version of Irender?

Thanks in advance.

Kimi

  • I believe Rich has fixed the Batch Location problem in the latest version. But perhaps only in the latest Beta version. I'll check with him.
  • Hello all,

What if you're running the cheaper version (nXtRender V:3.5) and you don't have to ability to edit batch rendering settings?  Just screwed?

  • Hi

This problem has been around for a long time - I remember posting a similar fix months ago

  • Sorry - this is a problem with the batch renderer temporary location. We need to fix it for the next version.

As richcat said, Go to the Render setup dialog, select Batch Rendering Settings, click Model Name or Custom, and then reclick Standard. That should fix the problem.

  • Thank you Rich,

    works perfectly.

    Thanks
  • Hi Kimi

You need to reset the batch render file location, form your home location to the office.

Do this by just opening the Batch Render Setting dialogue and clicking OK
