I am working on a rendering which has a .jpg image imported into sketchup. The quality within sketchup is normal, but when rendered with nxt renderer, it loses about 65% of the lines, creating a poor rendering of the .jpg. The actual Sketchup model looks fantastic, but the jpg image is poor. Is there a setting that can correct this, or am I just out of luck?

The first image is exported out of sketchup, the second is rendered with IRender.

  • Great!

The "Max. texture size" was meant to keep textures small for rendering speed and problems that we used to have rendering very large models.

    See:

  • Rich, that worked perfectly. Thank you for showing me the light. IRender can do absolutely amazing things!

  • It might be the setting for "Max. texture size" is causing the image to be set to a lower resolution.

    Try setting that to 0.

rich.hart@renderplus.com, if it's not too large. Otherwise, please go to this page:
