Rotating HDRi Skies

You might want to try rotating the HDRi sky to see if that makes a difference. An HDRi image typically has a main light source, like the sun, which casts shadows from a certain point.

Here is a model which I rendered using an HDRi sky with no rotation:

Notice how most of the light seems to be coming from behind the model.

If I rotate the HDRi Sky 180 degrees, I get this:
