I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for doing a night scene.
I have a complex model (8.9MB) of a multi field little league baseball stadium. Several fields with stadium lighting. The light stands are SU components from the warehouse.

Several ideas I've considered.

- set light stand to "glow". Use spot or omni directional....
- make SU time of day evening...
- increase ambient light
- add "spot" lights around the light fixtures bulbs
- add some reflections to field, surrounding area...

I'm really not sure how start. I'd play around. but render times are LONG given model size. I could break down model but removing content not in the scene.

but if anyone had some suggestions it would be much appreciated!!!

THANKS

While working on the lighting, you might replace most of the geometry with a simple shape.

Try using Lighting Channels to adjust the intensity of the sun and sky.

Hopefully some othe users can add some nighttime hints.
