IRender nXt will only run on a Mac if you run the Mac in Windows Emulation mode.

We do not have a Mac version of IRender nXt.

I'm working on operating in dual platform as we speak.  For Sketchup 7 I simply placed the nxt render in the plugins folder.  Will this work for Sketchup 8?

I imagine it will then.

There is also a Render Plus folder that would also have to be placed there.

I never work on a Mac myself, so I can't truly answer if it work.

But this will be in a Windows environment even though I am using a mac

So you are saying that the plugin is installed the same in version  8 as it is in version 7?

just install it and when it asks for the versionselect SU 8

It does not prompt me for SU 8.  And though the plugins minu is there and nxtirender load shows up in the drop down nothing happens.  Any thoughts?

Sounds like you have an install for an old version, from before we supported SketchUp 8.

Try downloading the latest version from:

http://www.renderplus.com/php/download_links.php

and installing that for SketchUp 8.

No I get the same results.  The plugin drop down is there as well as the irender option but it doesn't load.

Can you open the Ruby Console window in SketchUp before hitting the IRender menu choices, and send us or post the results?

Maybe there will be an error listed that will give a clue.
