I uploaded a model and some photos for someone to check. I also added a little explanation as well Can you confirm?

I played around with your model, but really couldn't do any better than you have done.

Perhaps a user with more experience trying to get a waterfall to look good will notice this discussion and help us out.

The water needs to look more like water, hopefullt more reflection will help there. Maybe grab some of those bubbles out of that model I uploaded...
