I CAN NOT FIND THE CORRECT CATEGORY: I SELECTED CORNER BAR BECAUSE IT WAS NOT SKETCHUP
I am working on a remodeling and addition project in Revit 12.
I regularly use the design option feature within Revit and also phasing.
In the case of Phasing:
1. If I demo a door in an existing wall and insert a window in its place as a part of a later phase such as new construction, the original door, the new window and the portion of the wall that filled in the door opening are all rendered.
2. If I insert a window (new construction phase) in wall (existing phase), the original wall and the window are both rendered. The result is that the projected trim of the window appears to be applied to the existing wall. The opening is not properly interpreted.
In the case of Design Options:
1. Both options are rendered, rather than the primary option.
I developed a work around, but it requires that I work on a separate Revit for the purposes of creating the rendering. UGH!! Not the best.

Can you send me a small model where this is happening for you, and a picture of what isn't supposed to get rendered?
Then I can figure out how to omit the geometry that you don't want.
Can Do.
Thanks
