lights stopped working

haven't done any 3d stuff in a few months, just started again, building similar models to ones I've already built.  But simple lights don't work.  Plus when I select RPS Render, Edit Lamps - I get

Dialog name must contain an underscore: appl_name: ''

     (Error occurred in ..\rps\dlg_layout.cpp line: 143)

    

Could use some urgent help and due to proprietary reasons, can't upload file

I would suggest installing the latest version first to see if the bug you are reporting is still there.
