In the joined image it seems there is a incorrect rendering of the tiled floor, I don't understand the large dark grey lines.

Texture is also joined

I also joined the Sketchup view, not rendered.

Alan, could you try using the icon on the toolbar to place images in your posts directly, rather than attachments. It would make it much easier for me to see what you mean without having to click on each image individually.

We will take a look at these images in a little while and (It is still early here in Colorado), and see what you are referring to.

Ok, so I didn't had time to do it yesterday.

Here is the sketchup view: You can see the tile on the walkway just after the pool

Here is the tile used:

Here is the image rendered by iRender and you can see the strange dark grey stripes on the walkway:

Try placing the walkway in a layer and then turning off the other layer so you can render it just by itself. If you still see the dark lines, then copy the walkway to the Windows clipboard, paste it into a new drawing, and see if you still have the problem. If so, then sent the new drawing to us. (It helps immensely if we can isolate problems to a small drawing)

Hi,

That's done. I attached the corresponding batch.

What about this problem?

Did you have my test package via yousendit?

Can you upload or send us the SketchUp model also?

Hi Rich,

You should have received a yousendit download link in support@renderplus.com.

Regards,

I believe what is happening is this:

The texture image for that material is set to be about 1 inch x 1 inch (.03m x .03m), very small.

It is then stretched (positioned) to look like the tile squares are about 3' x 3'7", and skewed a bit.

I believe there is a small bit of rounding error introduced when calculating the UV coordinates for the texture for the rendering, with such a large texture scale.

If I edit the material in SketchUp's material dialog, and make it 3' x 3' 7", and then reset the texture position on that walkway, the odd lines go away when I render it. Even if I skew it.

Try that.

Ah ok!!! Never pay attention to such thing.
Many thanks.
