Using the Render Farm

Can anyone share their experience with using the Render Farm?

We are wondering how the network speed at different sites might affect the ability of the Render Farm to help create renderings more quickly.

We are also interested if anyone has found an optimum number of farm machines to have active, or has found a setting for Rows per Farm Slice that has worked for them to make the Render Farm more efficient.
