Is it really necessary to enable sun in Sketchup when we check sun in iRender nXt setup options dialog?

Because in that case, when we have quite big model, it's really a nightmare to navigate in the dialog tabs.

If it's necessary to render the image then, is it not possible to enable it when we close the dialog?

You can leave the sun off in the IRender nXt setup dialog, and then either:

1. Turn it in in SketchUp just before starting the rendering, or

2. Start the rendering with the sun off, then use then stop the rendering aqnd use the Setup Wizard iin the renderer to turn the sun back on - and restart the rendering.

yes, possible.

We are going to add a check box as to whether or not to have the Sun, Sky and Ground settings on the SetUp Wizard change the current SketchUp settings - or leave SketchUp alone - but apply the setting when rendering.

When this checkbox is set, then changing sun or ground plane on/off in SketchUp will, also, not effect the rendering - because the values on the Wizard will be used instead.

Good, I think it's a nice idea.
