Just a suggestion. I've read the FAQ on how to create batch files then use windows scheduler with guessing how long each rendering takes, and then hope that each rendering is created. Haven't tried it to be fair, just seems to complicated. What would be great is just a simple dialogue box - select the scenes you want rendered assuming all the same setup options for each scene (at least for now), then let the machine do its thing, saving each scene as a separate file - even use the scene tab name to make things easier. Just a thought, would really allow us to run things overnight much easier, higher resolution and be much more productive.

Hi Larry
In hindsight using windows scheduler is a long away around. The much simpler method is to create a simple bat (batch file ) file in any text editor with the call command and basically a list of each create batch file.
Example:-
c:
cd C:\Users\name\Documents\IRender\batch_example 1
call start_irender_batch.bat
cd C:\Users\name\Documents\IRender\batch_example 2
call start_irender_batch.bat
cd C:\Users\name\Documents\IRender\batch_example 3
call start_irender_batch.bat
Couple of Hints:-
1.After producing batch folder right and mouse click on address bar at top of explorer dialog and you can copy address automatically.
2. Keep batch file command prompt window open whilst running batch files , if closed the bat file will not call next render file.
3. Make sure that you do not have the render before and after dialog prompt activated in NXT.
4. Under `batch settings` select `model name` for folder to be used.
5. In `image` dialog select `close when done` under `action when finish dialog`
Creating the batch file in notepad will take minutes (make sure you give it a .bat extension not text) and you can include has many examples has required. The batch command will open next file automatically when last window is closed.
6. Best to have windows updates switched off during batch session.
7. Deactivate screen saver during batch session to maximise performance.
Download the attached sample, right hand mouse click and select edit then change location to your batch files.

Just resurrecting this suggestion. Boothy's suggestion is appreciated, but not fully understood. Boy, could use this now
