I am currently playing around with different water settings and bump maps, as well as color modification. Whenever I open the advanced window and change the RGB values, once the advanced window is closed the color changes to something entirely different. SketchUp's color information and iRender's must be on different planes... this is very frustrating.

Chris:

When I want to render water - I use the IRender Preset = Glass, then apply a texture.  Several textures work well including marble, wrinkle, rubble.  If you set the Preset= "Thick Glass" and turn on "Caustic" - the effect is interesting - light will reflect off of the textured surface in very interesting ways.  With regard to using advanced settings - I'm going to try a few things to see if I provide an example and meaningful explanation.
